Niger Delta Talent Fiesta; the Biggest Talent Reality Show in the Niger Delta

Niger Delta Talent Fiesta; the Biggest Talent Reality Show in the Niger Delta, is a Unique Talent Development Reality Show for Youth Empowerment in the Niger Delta. 

This project is introducing a new approach to youth empowerment, beyond the regular options like skill acquisition and vocational training. It is aimed at discovering the best raw talents in the region and empowering them.

It is a noble initiative of a Non Governmental Organisation (NGO)-Goldberg Media Foundation that is passionate about youth empowerment especially through talent development. This is a yearly event that will shape the future of Entertainment and Youth Empowerment in the region. According to the organizers, this new approach has other benefits which include:
•         Empowering youths through their passion and natural abilities
•         Promote peace, unity and social integration of youths in the region.

 It is the expectation of the organizers that other youth empowerment stakeholders in the region will consider this asently. a viable option for youth empowerment and come on board to partner and sponsor the project subsequent.

There was Free Registration which brought over a thousand contestants from all the states of the Niger Delta and beyond to the zonal auditions that held in Uyo, Warri and Port Harcourt. Three Million Naira (N3, 000, 000) in talent development is up for grabs by the overall winner, while others will get varying levels of winning packages and other consolations prizes. 

The Top 30 Finalists from the various zonal auditions had a stiff competition and slugged it out on stage all through the month of August 2013. 

The contestants are well talented youths, showcasing fascinating performances in Singing, Dancing and Comedy. 

performances hold at the prestigious Zero Zone, Beverly Hills Hotel, GRA Phase 2, Port Harcourt, Nigeria.  

 

The Top 30 and Top 15 Finalists were brought to camp from different parts of the Niger Delta. The camp experience was fun, exciting and a great time of integration. There were training sessions by seasoned faculties in Music, Singing and Comedy.

The Grand Finale/Award Nite is holding by 3.00pm on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Aladumo Event Centre, GRA Junction, Port Harcourt.  All stakeholders, Government Agencies, Corporate Bodies and the general public are specially invited to this epoch making event in the garden city of Port Harcourt.
