The battle of PMAN chairmanship begans:
The PMAN elections scheduled to hold today started well and later ended with confusion and malpractice. This was how it all started for the day, full details and pictures below.
Musicians started trooping in at the police officers mess at force avenue Gra the early hours of 10am and it was a bright day seeing all the fractions of Pman coming together for a long time to vote a chairman that will oversea the affairs of the association.
The lives of Ac peter pepple jnr, big mose, peter stone cold, robby maga, lady ib, easy ranky, ice tee aka benibo ezekial, dadi q, vinta 60, soxxi, rowli, flexy tee, and many other great minds attended the elections arena.
Many complained to me that many port harcourt popular stars like mr 2kay, burna boy, duncan mighty, bulkwild, maxi, fortune, splendid, tha ibs, mizzy, lamile, double jay and others who has made their names here in the city didn't show any interest to elect the new pman chairman in rivers state. but that last administration allocated shows for them in place of those who were coming to meetings and paying dues.
When the time for accreditation started all the members of the association all walked towards the entrance of the police officers mess for a proper accreditation which lasted for many hours of the day.
The members of the ELECO are collecting list from some aspirants to call in in favour of them while many members that do attend meetings names are not on the authentic list for accreditation for the general election.
It all ended that aspirants and some individuals found out that 100% of the people in the election arena today at the police officers mess were not musicians but just ordinary men and women who were smuggled in to rig the elections.
Some aspirants kicked against the ELECO who earlier announced that the elections is now postponed due to what they too observed that the elections will not hold again because majority of the people who came to vote were not musicians.
Finally some accused the eleco of taken side and having their candidate who they found out that situation on ground will not allow their candidate to win as the new PMAN chairman in Rivers. A new date and format will be rescheduled by the Eleco and text messages will go round to members for the new date of the elections. I am Michael Naku reporting..
